Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026

1. The service

whereamimentioned ("the Service", "we", "us"), operated from Greece and available at whereamimentioned.com, measures how AI models represent brands: it probes grounded AI models with live web search, scores the answers, and reports visibility metrics. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 to use the Service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service (including attempts to circumvent rate limits or credit accounting, resell access, or probe unlawfully).

3. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page. Each plan grants a monthly credit allowance (1 credit = 1 answer: one prompt × one model × one run). Monthly plan credits reset at each billing cycle and do not roll over; purchased credit top-ups do not expire while your subscription is active. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, effective from your next billing cycle.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial months.

If you are an EU consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a subscription you request immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that once a scan has run (credits consumed), withdrawal covers only the unused portion. To withdraw, email hello@whereamimentioned.com within 14 days of first purchase.

If something went wrong on our side — a scan failed and credits were not restored, or you were billed in error — contact us and we will make it right.

5. Bring your own key (BYOK)

On plans that support it, you may connect your own OpenRouter API key. Scans then run on your OpenRouter account at your cost, and OpenRouter's terms apply to that usage. Your key is stored encrypted, used only to run your scans, and can be removed at any time.

6. Your content and our results

You retain all rights to the brand profiles, prompts, and other content you submit. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service on that content. Scan results are yours to use, including in client reports. AI-model answers are generated by third-party models; we report them faithfully but do not control or endorse what a model says.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to violate law or third-party rights, to probe for content you are not permitted to process, to attempt to manipulate or poison AI-model outputs, to reverse-engineer the Service, or to build a competing dataset by systematic bulk extraction beyond your plan's intended use.

8. Disclaimers

Visibility metrics are statistical estimates of non-deterministic systems. We publish our methodology and show confidence intervals, but we do not warrant that any score, mention, or trend is complete, error-free, or predictive of business outcomes. The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer rights under EU and Greek law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, reputational harm). This limitation does not apply to intent, gross negligence, or harm to life or health.

10. Termination and changes

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts for material breach of these terms with notice where practicable. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in-app notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Courts of Greece have jurisdiction, except where consumer law lets you sue at home. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
